Revalidation support evenly split

The Cegedim survey of 150 doctors nationwide, commissioned by Avant to mark its 120th birthday, found 54% agreed with the measure recently taken up in the UK and which the board has suggested could be a more effective replacement for continuing professional development.

That included 45% who supported revalidation despite “concerns about how it would be delivered”, 4% who supported it because it would bring Australia into line with other countries, and 5% who supported it unconditionally.
