Around 12% of complaints being lodged against health practitioners to AHPRA are by their peers, a new study has found.

An analysis of all notifications made to the watchdog between 2011 and 2016 did not identify the outcomes but stressed those that came from a fellow health professional was more likely than those from patients to lead to sanctions.
