RUM gets new funding
The Return Unwanted Medicines (RUM) Project has received an additional three years of Federal Government funding.
The national program, running through every community pharmacy, has now been funded through till 30 June 2018.
The new funding agreement will provide for the costs of the ongoing collection and disposal of returned medicines along with analysis of these medicines and research into the reasons why consumers are returning them.
