School girls on LARCs take sex risks

High school girls who use long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) appear to be ditching the condom in favour of unprotected sex, infectious disease experts report.

Their study of 2288 sexually active 15-18 year-olds shows LARC users are 60% less likely to use condoms than girls on the pill.
