SensaSlim pushes on with defamation action despite ACCC freeze
EMBATTLED weight-loss company SensaSlim has vowed to keep fighting an $800,000 defamation action against activist and academic Dr Ken Harvey, despite the company’s Australian businesses being placed in the hands of administrators.
Sensaslim is suing Dr Harvey for defamation over a series of complaints he made to the TGA regarding the company’s claims about one of its products.
However, when he next appears in front of the NSW Supreme Court on Monday, Dr Harvey is expected to request that the court throw out the action.
