Should GPs cry in front of patients?

When it comes to showing emotions, there are all kinds of doctors.

Some have no issue with shedding tears and sharing hugs when a tragic incident occurs to one of their patients, or when they have to be the bearer of bad news.

However others believe that crying is a step too far and that patients expect them to mainatin their professional composure at all times; after all you never want a patient to feel that they have to look after you.
