Sick doctors go to work for their team

Fear of letting down their colleagues is the reason most doctors go into work when they are a sick, according to an Australian Doctor poll.

The findings reveal that although around one fifth (22%) of respondents say they go to work when ill because the need of patients is greater than the risk of infection, the majority (36%) do so because they do not want to leave their colleagues struggling to cope.
