Adolescent girls who have overlarge or uneven breasts are likely to suffer from significant mental health problems, a study shows.

Self-esteem, emotional well-being and social functioning are all negatively affected by both macromastia and breast asymmetry, say the researchers, who suggest early intervention will benefit even those with relatively mild breast size differences.
