Slow walking an early hallmark of Alzheimer’s

How slowly elderly people walk may be related to the amount of amyloid they have in their brains, even if they don’t have symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, report French neuroscientists.

They say slow gait, in the presence of subjective memory complaints, may be an early marker of Alzheimer’s disease.
