SSRIs linked to raised BP in pregnancy

Antidepressant use in pregnancy is linked with an increased risk of hypertension, beyond that attributed to depression or anxiety, research finds.

A study of 13,200 pregnant women showed those taking antidepressants were 53% more likely to have pregnancy-induced hypertension compared with pregnant women not exposed to the drugs.
