Statins cause fatigue, study finds

Moderate statin use is associated with increased tiredness and exertional fatigue, research shows.

The study — reportedly the first randomised trial on the subject — included 1016 people with elevated LDL cholesterol who received simvastatin (20mg), pravastatin (40mg) or placebo for six months.
