Stricter internship rules shock students

ACT medical students who shop around for out-of-state internships will now be sent to the back of the queue for internships at the territories biggest hospital.

Using tactics labelled as "coercive, anti-competitive and exploitative", ACT Health has decided to guarantee an intern place at Canberra Hospital for ANU medical students, but only if they don't apply for internships elsewhere.
