Stroke prevention key to battling dementia risk

Dr Serge Gauthier, director of the Alzheimer’s disease research unit at the Centre for Studies in Aging at McGill University, Canada, said prevention was the most powerful medicine in the fight against Alzheimer’s and other dementia.
