Struck-off doctor to stand in Vic election
A doctor stuck off for groping a patient is standing in a state election with a pledge to highlight "corruption" within the Medical Board of Australia and the nation's judicial system.
John Barry Myers (pictured) is making the unsubstantiated allegations against the board as he hits the campaign trail as an independent for the seat of Caulfield in this month's Victorian election.
The former consultant physician and geriatrician has a history of adverse findings against his practice dating back to 2001.
