Heart failure patients may not have an elevated risk of cancer, after all, the latest evidence suggests.

A study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology contradicts previous studies that found that cancer risk increases over time.
The researchers analysed over 28,000 male doctors without heart failure or cancer at baseline.
Over the 20-year study period, 1420 of the men went on to develop heart failure, and a total of 7363 cancers were reported.
