Study gives fresh clues to predicting miscarriages

Researchers from the Netherlands have found that in live pregnancies ending in a miscarriage, embryonic morphological development is delayed by four days in the first 10 weeks.

They used 3D ultrasound imaging to assess 644 women with singleton pregnancies in the periconception period with follow-up until one year after delivery.
