Study questions low-dose aspirin for middle-aged women

The pros of giving healthy middle-aged women regular low-dose aspirin as a preventive measure are outweighed by the cons, suggest the results of a 10-year study involving almost 30,000 women.

But the balance begins to shift with increasing age, so limiting the primary prevention to women aged 65 and older is better than not taking aspirin at all.
