Study shows benefits of Tai Chi for CVD

Chinese exercises like Tai Chi are likely to lower the blood pressure of patients with cardiovascular disease, a meta-analysis suggests.
The meta-analysis of 35 randomised controlled trials shows systolic and diastolic blood pressure reductions of 9 and 5mmHg respectively, compared with control groups of either no exercise, usual care, or other forms of exercise.
