Super clinic operating with no GPs
A $25 million GP super clinic is in need of a name change after it emerged it will no longer bother using GPs.
The so-called GP Plus Super Clinic Noarlunga — a joint funding venture between the Federal Government and the SA State Government — was sold as a one-stop shop for general practice and specialist medical services.
But now local politicians are calling for an inquiry into what has long been branded a white elephant.
Australian Doctor called the clinic on Wednesday and was told it is only providing specialised Indigenous and sexual health services.
