Supercentenarians reason for Medicare reform: Hockey

Treasurer Joe Hockey says changes to Medicare are needed because it was “highly probable a child has been born [today] who will live to be 150”.

Mr Hockey’s claim has been savaged by Opposition leader Bill Shorten who described it as the minister’s “Sarah Palin moment”.
