Federal Health Minister Sussan Ley has vowed to investigate whether a clinic knocked back a cancer patient attending for her normally bulk-billed annual bone scan.

Replying to a retweet, in which an Central Coast pensioner describes being refused a bulk-billed bone scan because the “government subsidy had been cancelled”, Ms Ley quickly mounted her white charger.
“No change to Medicare-funded scans for pensioners! Can someone send me name of clinic so my office can investigate?” she tweeted at 2.18am on Sunday
