Take a sauna for heart’s sake

New evidence that frequent sauna sessions are good for the cardiovascular system suggests the Finns have known for some time they were on to a good thing.

Results from a study show that sweating it away in the timber-clad rooms reduces the risk of dying from heart disease.

The longer the time spent in the sauna and the more regular the session, the greater the benefits, say the Finnish researchers.
