Tea and chocolate to avoid diabetes?

In the study of 2000 people, UK researchers found consumption of high levels of flavones and anthocyanins was associated with less insulin resistance, better blood glucose regulation and lowered inflammation.

Flavones are found in herbs such as parsley and thyme as well as in vegetables such as celery. Anthocyanins are found in berries, red grapes, wine and other red and blue fruit and vegetables.

High levels of anthocyanins are also found in the cacao bean. However, chocolate
