Tech talk: Online intervention for risky drinkers

With one in five adults consuming alcohol at risky levels, a new online intervention has been launched to help GPs identify patients who may be struggling with their drinking habits.

Devised by GPs and researchers at the University of NSW’s National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), the Healthier Drinking Choices website offers users the chance to gain a holistic understanding of their drinking behaviour and options to help them stop.
