Text messages can improve medication adherence in patients receiving treatment for cardiovascular disease, a new study shows.

The British study aimed to assess the value of text messaging as a way of improving medication adherence in patients receiving blood pressure and/or lipid-lowering treatment for cardiovascular disease.
