TGA wants Bayer’s Berocca claims retracted

In March the TGA said Bayer’s internet advertisement for Berocca Performance breached therapeutic advertising rules because the company could not prove the product produced a “clinically significant effect... in improvement to concentration or a reduction in tiredness”.

“The TGA found that the advertisement was unverified, not correct, likely to arouse unwarranted and unrealistic expectations as to the product's effectiveness and was misleading or likely to mislead consumers,” the TGA said
