In a matter before the NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal (ADT) earlier this month, a woman employed by Snowy River Shire Council told her GP a colleague had committed suicide as a result of workplace bullying.

The council’s then occupational health and safety officer, who was sitting and taking notes in the consult, subsequently emailed six council managers her notes, which included information about the woman’s health as well as the concerns about workplace issues.
