Three things you should know about women pharmacists

As it gears up for elections the Pharmacy Guild has called on female pharmacists to stand for positions on its committees.

The number of women on committees is too low and doesn’t reflect the change in the profession, the Guild says.

In the latest issue of Forefront, Guild Executive Director David Quilty highlights these three telling points about women pharmacists:

  1. Most pharmacy graduates are women;
  2. Only 30% of pharmacy owners are women; and
  3. Most of the female Guild members are aged up to 45, which suggests the Guild is
