Tough TGA may obliterate CAMs

The TGA last week published draft rules specifying how an “expert report” is completed, who qualifies as an “expert”, and what types of indications they can assess for a complementary product to be listed.

According to the draft paper an expert must have a three-year health-related degree plus either five years’ experience as a practitioner, researcher or adviser, or must have a PhD in a related field.
