Treatment frees kids from peanut allergy

Australian researchers have come up with a treatment they believe could provide a long-term cure for peanut allergy.

Early trial results are promising for the treatment, which is a fixed daily dose of the probiotic, Lactobacillus rhamnosus combined with peanut protein in increasing amounts.
In a trial by the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, 60 patients with peanut allergy were given either the treatment or placebo.
After 18 months, 80% of
