Two compete for top Pharmacy Guild post

Pharmacy Guild elections are heating up with two candidates competing to become the Queensland branch president.

They are  Paul Jaffar from the Gold Coast and Trent Twomey from Cairns.

The current Queensland leader, Tim Logan, is standing down as he has completed the maximum number of terms.

The election of state branch presidents will take place over three weeks from 18 August.

Mr Jaffar, who owns four pharmacies, has been a branch committee member for three years. One of his biggest concerns is the “hurt and pain” caused by PBS reforms.
