UK pharmacists not so trusted

While Australian pharmacists enjoy high consumer regard their UK colleagues are not perceived so fondly with a survey rating them the least trusted health professionals.

Only 39% of 1160 UK consumers surveyed late last year said they trusted health advice from their pharmacist "a great deal".

This was "significantly lower" than nurses (45%), opticians (49%), dentists (50%) and GPs (62%), according to newsletter
