Ukranian doctor fails English test in fourth attempt at registration

Adelaide-based Victoria Larsen, an Australian citizen, claims she completed a medical degree with honours at the Odessa National Medical University in 1984, a PhD in haematology and a qualification in radiology, the South Australian Health Practitioners Tribunal said.

But it said the Medical Board of Australia had refused her latest application for limited registration in May last year after she failed to provide documents proving her overseas registration history.

She did provide a letter from a potential employer saying it would employ her as a GP
