Uncertainty for 3500 European pharmacists in the UK

There are close to 3500 pharmacists and 200 pharmacy technicians living in the UK who are originally from the European Economic Area (EEA) – and the British regulator is not quite sure how the Brexit will affect them.

The General Pharmacy Council (GPhC) had admitted to the UK’s Pharmaceutical Journal it’s unclear where most of those on their books are from originally and, conversely, they’re not certain how many British-trained pharmacists are working in the EU.
