Violent stroke advert taken off air
A “macabre and violent” ad aiming to raise stroke awareness has been banned from television after the Advertising Standards Board upheld several complaints.
The National Stroke Foundation ad showed a man, dressed in black and depicted as a serial killer, cutting into a human brain with a scalpel and then smashing a second brain with a hammer.
