Wanted: GP feedback on quality indicators

The RACGP has launched a consultation on 22 clinical performance indicators for general practice under its new drive to improve quality and safety in the specialty.

The indicators, revealed by Australian Doctor in March, range from having practice policies to cover end-of-life care and the prescription of addictive medications, to the use of radiology for back pain and assessment of absolute cardiovascular risk.
