What would you do if the phones went dead?

Imagine all landline, email, fax, internet and mobile connections being wiped out and your practice plunged back into the Dark Ages of communication. 

That’s what happened to dozens of general practices in rural Victoria a few years ago after an early morning fire knocked out all Telstra telephone, broadband and data services. 

The fire in the Warrnambool Telephone Exchange in south-western Victoria disconnected 100,000 customers across a 26,000km2 area.
