One in three people say they would risk living a shorter life instead of taking a daily pill for their heart, report researchers who interviewed 1000 Americans.

When asked by researchers how much time they were willing to forfeit at the end of the their lives to avoid taking daily medication for cardiovascular disease, 8% said they were willing to trade two years of life.
