Influenza vaccination may work better if given first thing in the morning to maximise the antibody response, immunologists say.

Based on the findings from a three-year British study, the researchers say the timing of vaccine administration to favour mornings may be particularly beneficial for older people whose immune response may be lacking.
The results show that antibody responses to two of three influenza strains (H1N1 A-strain and B-strain) were higher when the vaccination was given in the morning but not for H3N2 A-strain
