‘Win-win-win’ for Queensland pharmacies
Queensland pharmacies will give flu jabs to more than 1000 government workers this year after the government agreed to pay for the shots.
The deal is valid at any Guild pharmacy registered with the program and with a vaccination accredited pharmacist .
More than 1200 employees from five government departments have already booked. That’s up from 559 last year, when pharmacies vaccinated employees from two departments.
Queensland Guild president Tim Logan says the program is convenient for the patients and light on administration for the departments. It’s also good for the pharmacies.
