Women cyclists may be more likely to develop saddle sores and UTIs than runners and swimmers, but they tend to have better sex lives.

An international study has found that those who participate in high-intensity rides have lower odds of sexual dysfunction than other female athletes.

This contradicts previous smaller studies that found the opposite is true.

More than 3000 women athletes from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand were surveyed for the study.
