Workaholic GP failed to spot doctor-shoppers

A "workaholic" GP has been left censured and ashamed after police traced the sale of illicit street drugs in NSW back to her prescriptions.

Coffs Harbour GP Dr Cathryn Platt was found guilty of professional misconduct on Friday for prescribing narcotics and benzodiazepines to 12 drug-dependant patients without authority between 2005 and 2010.
