Yoghurt protects against high blood pressure

Women who eat five or more portions of yoghurt a week are at significantly reduced risk of developing high blood pressure, a large US study shows.

The researchers from Boston University looked at two large Nurse’s Health Study cohorts and one mixed-gender cohort, identifying 75,000 new cases of high blood pressure with up to 30 years of follow-up.
