Young Aussies getting fatter, faster

Young Australians are stacking on the weight and putting themselves at risk of diabetes, the latest AusDiab study results have revealed.

Australian adults added an average 5.3cm to their waistline over the past 12 years, with the biggest gains in the 25-34-year-old age group, the national study’s 2011/2012 follow-up has shown.
