ACT doctor-patient ratio on the rise: study

A GP workforce scoping study, commissioned by the ACT Medicare Local (ACTML) and carried out by Rural Health Workforce Australia, found a 9% increase since 2009.

Chief Minister Katy Gallagher said the workforce of 400 GPs was now “on par with the last recorded national average of one GP for every 893 people”.
