AGPN wants MLs revealed by government

With the second round of MLs set to be operational in January and the third in July next year, AGPN chair Dr Emil Djakic said he urged government to announce which divisions would get ML contracts sothe conference could discuss “what needs to happen, what they have to do, and how do they go about it”.

“The longer there’s this question mark, the more confusion it causes and the more you allow people to start creating angst and stories,” Dr Djakic said.

A spokesperson for Health Minister Nicola Roxon said choosing MLs was a “careful and rigorous… process” and “as we have explained to the AGPN, the government will announce successful organisations as soon as it is possible”.
