AMA warns Brits: Be fair or lose more young doctors to Australia

AMA president Professor Brian Owler has appealed to the British government to ensure a fair deal for junior doctors in last-ditch contract negotiations or risk losing more of them to Australia.

In a letter to British High Commissioner to Australia Menna Rawlings today, Prof Owler says the long-running dispute over employment contracts is doing “tremendous damage” to the reputation of Britain's National Health Service (NHS).
