AMA's plan to promote more women

The AMA has outlined plans to put more women in senior college and professional roles to stamp out bullying and uncivil behaviour in medicine.

In its recommendations to a Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ expert advisory group, the peak medical body says gender inequity has a proven causal relationship with discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment of female employees.
