‘Critical’ GP shortage in Kalgoorlie

WA based health workforce agency Rural Health West has confirmed that by January next year there is expected to be 15 GP vacancies, out of a total 30 GPs in the twin towns of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, which have a combined population of about 30,000.

Rural Health West recruitment manager Tina Donovan pointed out that these were just the ones they knew of “but there could be others”, she warned.
