Dissent in minister’s backyard over co-pay changes

Dr Ramu Nachiappan, a long-serving GP in Broken Hill, in the far west of the electorate, says the surprise short-consult cut announced in December is unfair on GPs and with the added July cut of $5 could even bring the demise of family medicine in the bush.
